The entire floor of the gallery space was covered with approx. 10 cm of soft foam. Behind the double walls of the gallery space there were sound transducers in several places, which produced irregular knocking signals from time to time. The neon tubes of the ceiling lights were supplied with a voltage of several thousand volts and therefore produced a peculiar light, which seemed to flow along the outer walls of the neon tubes.
