SEX

is a (house)-music project

Since 2005 Branka Colic, Anneli Käsmayr and Michael Rieken are the artist-cum-musician collective SEX. Besides creating performative art installations using sound, light and space design they also produce music as a band. In 2006 they were awarded the ‘Bremen prize for emerging art’.

In 2010 they released their first EP ‘Can´t find no sex in the record shop’ as an exhibition catalogue for their first solo show ‘sex®shop’ at Städtische Galerie Bremen. By using their constantly evolving musical repertoire and own visuals SEX perform periodically in and beyond Bremen.

 

Since 2006 the group also works as DJ collective

and plays electronic dance music. In 2010 they started the irregular dance event ‘Sonntag klingt gut – Sunday sounds fine’ on sunday afternoons with house, deep disco and poly techno alongsides coffe, tea and homemade cakes.
